Sometimes a photo is just a photo. The global adventure sports juggernaut that is Red Bull names a top photo of the month from its trove of intrepid photographers. But it’s the image this month of a cliff diver in the UK that is exceptionally stunning.
The photo shows diver Gary Hunt leaping backward off the 27 meter platform during the first training session for the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in Polignano a Mare in Italy Aug 26.
With his arms outstretched skyward and extremely thin physique, Hunt takes on a Christ-like image as he soars through the sky.
