Sometimes you have to yield to the bigger animal, or at least the one that’s more willing to use deadly force.
After reeling in a leopard shark off the coast of Dana Point, a kayak fisherman found himself in a tug-of-war with a great white shark about 8 feet long.

“I had the camera in one hand and I had the shark in the other hand … I had to move my arm back and forth like a piston so that it wouldn’t just pull me over,” Morales told KTLA Channel 5 in Los Angeles.
In the video the shark can be approaching the leopard shark and ripping it to shreds. Morales keeps it dangled over the edge as it comes for another pass to retrieve the rest.
